Chapter 8: The Wish


Syaoran was looking out the window with Mokona and Kero restlessly. With determination he grabbed Hien and started for the door. Mokona immediately bounced up to stop Syaoran.

“Don’t go, I don’t want you to get hurt,” the little creature pleaded, Syaoran didn’t answer.

“It can’t be helped,” Kurogane started as he stood up,” Nothing can stop him at this point.”

Syaoran only grinned,” I’ll be back with Princess Sakura and Sakura-chan.”

The boy then walked out the door and to the road. To his surprise he saw Princess Sakura accompanying a little boy who was carrying a sleeping Sakura at the gate.

He immediately ran to the group,” Princess!”

The group stopped, Princess Sakura smiled, “Syaoran-kun!”

Syaoran stopped before the group and looked at the sleeping little girl, “Sakura-chan…”

“Don’t worry she’s just asleep,” Sakura said assuring.

The little boy just nodded, Syaoran smiled at him, “And you are?”

“Li Syaoran,” the boy just answered with no trouble.

This surprised Syaoran a bit but took the sleeping Sakura into his arms, “Let me help.”

Syaoran smiled and nodded, “Thank you.”

The small group then walked back to the house. Fay was awaiting them with a warm smile at the doorway with Kurogane and Mokona.

“I see the princess is back into her own body,” Fay said as if he knew what happened.

Princess Sakura just smiled and walked into the house with the rest of the group and was warmly welcomed.

Saito kept stirring his thoughts as he sat in his throne unsettled. A green light formed Shinji of who walked towards his brother from the light.

“The escapees have reached the rest of their group,” Shinji reported solemnly.

Saito didn’t answer; Miyuki formed next to Shinji from her own light and immediately reported, “I have found traces of her presence… Kly’s presence.”  

Saito then alertly looked behind his siblings with great surprise and a rage within started building. A portal colored gold suddenly shaped on the floor, a young lady formed from the light. She was about the same height as Miyuki; her eyes were shining a bright bronze through her spectacles. Her silky black hair and maroon cape flew around her as she started to walk.

Saito immediately stood up and a long sword pieced into his hand,” Kly why are you here?!”

Kly stopped and just smiled, “Still impatient are we now?”

“I will not be tested,” Saito growled as he raised his blade.

Kly still smiled, “What you are doing can only be hurting yourself.”

Suddenly the blade was at her neck, “You have no right to be telling me what to do,” Saito just said coldly.

“Oh dear do you think anything would be done if I were to die Saito,” Kly answered coolly as she slowly distanced the sword from herself.

Saito lowered his sword, furious he then disappeared into a blue light, gone from the room.

With indifference, she started towards Miyuki and Shinji, the two weren’t alarmed.

“It’s been awhile hasn’t it?” Kly asked as she looked softly upon the twins.

“Kly-san,” Miyuki started, “why are you trying to stop Saito-kun?”

“Are you fighting for the invincible dream too,” Shinji also asked.

Kly’s eyes grew sad; she walked to the throne and lightly stroked the armrest, “Saito-san is just wishing for the impossible, he’ll be hurting himself even more if he accomplishes his goal.”

“Then why?” Shinji asked again.

Kly responded calmly, “No one can be revived once they’re dead, not even his mother, our mother...”  

Shinji and Miyuki stayed silent, Kly looked at the pair with sad eyes, “If he completes his wish he will be sadden because it won’t be the same person yet he is desperate to bring her back.”

Shinji, now frustrated, asked, “You share our mother’s blood and you feel no sorrow, you aren’t human yet you’re our half sister!”

Kly didn’t flinch upon hearing it nor did she look at him.  Ignoring the harsh words she looked upon Miyuki, “What about you?”

“I believe in Saito-kun, I wish for the same thing he does, I don’t really care what happens just as long it comes true,” Miyuki just answered.

Kly just sighed, “Guess it can’t be helped, I’ll continue to interfere until Saito-kun sees the truth.”

With that said, Kly disappeared within her gold light. She reformed herself onto a branch of a tree of which was overlooking the Kinomoto residence.

“I’ll have to watch over them until my wish is complete,” Kly thought to herself as she watched over the group go into the house.
